You’ve seen them. You’ve yelled at them.
Drivers so clueless they make Mario Kart look like a documentary.
In this rage-fueled episode of Stay in the Gray, Ryan takes a sarcastic—but seriously needed—look at what’s happened to basic driving competence. From FaceTiming at 70 mph to poodles in the dashboard to the nationwide allergy to turn signals, we’re calling it out.
🎙 Topics include:
– Distracted driving deaths (and why they’re rising)
– Tailgaters, left-lane hogs, and rolling stops
– School zones, speed traps, and why pets shouldn’t be projectiles
– The dangerous side of "just bad driving"
Cringe. Laugh. Reconsider your habits.
And if this episode made you flinch behind the wheel... good.

America's Got turn signals but refuses to use them.
00:00:03
You're driving a fucking two ton machine that can kill people.
00:00:06
It's in 2022 alone over 3500 people died just because someone
00:00:10
had to answer that text. Driving is basically the biggest
00:00:13
shared group activity that we have every single day with no
00:00:17
supervision. It's like Mario Kart but with
00:00:20
real consequences and 0 skill. Unless you don't have any arms
00:00:26
and then you likely wouldn't be driving.
00:00:28
But let's just say you found a way to drive with no arms.
00:00:31
That is the only way you're excused from not using your turn
00:00:35
signal. Welcome to Stay in the Gray
00:00:47
podcast. I'm your host, Ryan, and I'm
00:00:49
here to bring you raw conversations about life and
00:00:53
those undeniable human truths. We dive into the chaos one issue
00:00:58
at a time, blending comedy, controversy and the
00:01:01
unexplainable. Get ready for transparent ideas
00:01:08

00:01:17
Please stay laughing. Stay in the Gray.
00:01:19
Come check it out. We'll see that.
00:01:24
Hey guys, April the 14th just keeps flying.
00:01:28
I'm going to have some fun today, and I hope you do too.
00:01:33
This is something that most of us can come together and bond
00:01:37
over. No more is this 5050 divide a
00:01:43
little more than 5050 possibly about politics and about Gaza
00:01:48
and about tariffs and all of those things that fall under
00:01:53
that umbrella. Today we're going to talk about
00:01:55
something a little different and that's fucking drivers that
00:01:59
suck. It is beyond me that I had to
00:02:03
deal with this on a day-to-day basis.
00:02:06
Trey and I used to do a segment on the show back in the day
00:02:09
called an awareness of self-awareness.
00:02:13
And what that means if you can't figure it out, is that people
00:02:16
need to understand, become self aware of the things they do that
00:02:23
not only piss people off, but that are dangerous and that
00:02:27
annoy me, quite frankly. It, it's driving and cars on the
00:02:32
road and trucks on the road. This is one of the things that I
00:02:35
think might send me to my grave. It's unreal. 3 different things
00:02:41
on the way back home today, I'm sitting here ready to do this
00:02:44
show. And I was like, well, there's
00:02:45
another one, There's another one, There's another one.
00:02:48
Just you can, I have to pull over sometimes and just take a
00:02:52
deep breath. We'll talk.
00:02:54
I was coming up with the title of the show and, and I admit
00:02:58
that I was getting some help with it because I wanted it to
00:02:59
be clever. And I had a couple of these from
00:03:01
mine, but a couple of these were assisted by my AI partner, if
00:03:06
you will. But every one of these applies
00:03:09
to you people that I'm talking about.
00:03:10
So, so here it is. This is an awareness of
00:03:13
self-awareness. That's the main one behind the
00:03:16
wheel of idiocy. That's my favorite driver's seat
00:03:22
of dumb. License to drive poorly.
00:03:26
Staring into stupidity. America's Got turn signals but
00:03:29
refuses to use them. Caution morons at the wheel and
00:03:33
drive like no one's watching and it shows.
00:03:37
I have one more Fast and the Furious and the flat out dumb.
00:03:41
I'm looking at you people, and I joke and I joke, but bottom line
00:03:47
is that this can be deadly. This can impact people's lives.
00:03:55
Lives can be taken. Lives can be ruined.
00:03:57
And I'm trying to joke about it because I want people to to
00:04:00
listen and to go, yeah, you know, this happened to me the
00:04:04
other day. Why are people like this?
00:04:08
But then really be able to sit back and go, man, we need these
00:04:10
people to actually understand because it's not good.
00:04:14
And I have kids now and and that's my biggest priority is
00:04:17
keeping them alive. And you're not helping.
00:04:21
So let's start. Let's roll.
00:04:24
This is the big one is distracted driving.
00:04:27
That's obvious. That's cell phones and food,
00:04:31
things like that. So whether it's texting, which
00:04:34
is the biggest one, probably taking selfies, doing videos,
00:04:39
eating your food, that Big Mac you got to get before you get
00:04:42
back to the office, whatever the case may be, I just don't
00:04:46
understand the need to do it right there.
00:04:49
Are our attention spans so vastly hindered these days that
00:04:55
you can't sit at a light without looking at your phone?
00:04:59
The eating thing, I'm not going to lie to you, I've done it
00:05:01
before and every once in a while I still do it.
00:05:04
But I guarantee you there's not anything else that I'm doing
00:05:07
besides driving and focusing on that.
00:05:09
And I set it down in between bites.
00:05:12
So maybe I need to be more self aware when I eat in the car, but
00:05:17
have you pulled up to somebody before and seen this?
00:05:20
I, I do all the time. People that are literally, it
00:05:23
looks like they're on FaceTime, They're talking to people what
00:05:25
they're driving. If you're talking to somebody
00:05:28
and you're looking at a different camera, chances are
00:05:32
that there's something coming from this direction that you're
00:05:34
not going to see. Be aware, be observant, know
00:05:38
what's happening around you. You're driving a fucking two ton
00:05:41
machine that can kill people. All right.
00:05:44
And that was just the first one. How about some stats?
00:05:47
In 2022 alone over 3500 people died just because someone had to
00:05:52
answer that text. Somebody was distracted and they
00:05:55
call those distracted deaths. It's a non catastrophic
00:05:58
annoyance because in the part that isn't deadly, you're
00:06:03
sitting in a light and people are trying to wait.
00:06:06
Happens a lot in the in the left turn lane.
00:06:09
The arrow pops on, you've got your fucking music on, you're
00:06:12
looking at your phone, you're texting, and you don't see that
00:06:15
the arrow changes. Well, there's only so long
00:06:17
before that arrow turns, and usually the left turn lane isn't
00:06:19
very long. And if other people behind you
00:06:23
are trying to get somewhere, what are you doing?
00:06:26
You're holding everybody up because your dumb ass is looking
00:06:29
at a phone and listening to your music and you're unaware.
00:06:33
I had a situation not long ago. I was leaving the golf course
00:06:36
and I was trying to meet some people.
00:06:38
Fortunately it was just for a lunch, but I got behind this guy
00:06:42
and and honking didn't work. He must have had his music
00:06:45
blaring and he went through two cycles of the light.
00:06:50
These days I'm not going to get out of my car.
00:06:51
Who knows what what somebody's carrying or freak somebody
00:06:54
freaks out. But boy, that horn I was, I was
00:06:58
using and he didn't hear it. Two light cycles.
00:07:03
What are you doing? And finally he turned and I
00:07:06
think everybody else in line zoomed by him and everybody was
00:07:09
flipping them off. And, and rightfully so.
00:07:11
Usually I'm, I warn people these days about flipping people off
00:07:16
or yelling because like I said, you don't know what they're
00:07:19
capable of. But get off your phones.
00:07:23
I don't even want to condone this, but at the very least put
00:07:25
it on top of your wheel and be looking at the light and looking
00:07:28
at your phone at the same time. Because if you're going to crash
00:07:31
into a pole, I don't give a shit, but I need to get
00:07:33
somewhere. The next one, tailgaters.
00:07:36
This is a common one people don't like.
00:07:40
Very rarely, I'll probably push up on somebody if they've done
00:07:44
something wrong or if they're doing #3 which is coming up.
00:07:50
But these people are trying to climb into your back seat with
00:07:52
their lovely Kia Soul. And in traffic, this is so
00:07:57
annoying, especially when the highways are congested.
00:08:02
Where are you going to go? Where are you going to go?
00:08:05
Even if you got through me or I moved out of the way, where are
00:08:07
you going to go? If you live in a rural area or a
00:08:11
city and you're listening to this and you don't get a lot of
00:08:14
back-to-back bumper to bumper traffic, then ignore this and
00:08:18
nobody should be tailgating you. The only time that I think it
00:08:24
might be OK is if they're sitting their ass in the left
00:08:28
lane, which is the everybody, the fast lane.
00:08:34
Anybody that doesn't know this, anybody that's doing that,
00:08:38
that's sitting in the left lane unaware, going 62 and a 55 or
00:08:44
excuse me, 62 and a 65 with people lined up behind them.
00:08:49
One of two things. Either they don't know, they're
00:08:52
just oblivious and they shouldn't be driving, or they
00:08:56
don't care and they're assholes. Most of them are probably the
00:09:00
latter, although I wouldn't doubt there were some of the
00:09:04
former as well. Get out of the left lane.
00:09:08
This may be one of the things that drives me the most crazy.
00:09:11
It's just common courtesy. It holds everybody up.
00:09:14
Then people are trying to just get out of the left lane.
00:09:18
You know who you are, you know who you are.
00:09:20
A little fun fact, and I knew this, but nobody carries it out.
00:09:25
Being in the left lane and going slow and not using it just to
00:09:31
pass and a lot of states is actually illegal.
00:09:35
Karen with the emotional support dog doesn't seem to care and
00:09:39
until it's enforced people aren't going to give a shit.
00:09:43
Speaking of dogs, let's talk about unrestrained dogs in the
00:09:49
car. Is it cute?
00:09:53
No, maybe debatable depending on the dog.
00:09:57
Most little dogs to me, are not cute.
00:10:01
What's not debatable is that this little fluffy fuck can be a
00:10:07
furry projectile if you hit something.
00:10:12
A 10 LB dog in a 30 mile per hour crash becomes £300.
00:10:16
Force cannonball. But sure, let little Max sit on
00:10:20
your lap while you're driving 70 miles an hour.
00:10:23
Nothing bad could ever happen in that situation.
00:10:27
It's not adorable, it's not hilarious, it's insanely
00:10:30
dangerous and I've seen it a lot.
00:10:32
And the biggest one I saw recently was I was driving
00:10:35
behind a car and it was, it was fortunately it was a road that
00:10:39
was about 40 miles an hour speed limit.
00:10:41
That's not that slow. And I'll give you a statistic on
00:10:44
that in a minute. It's not that slow and it was
00:10:48
going through and it's the three lane on each side.
00:10:50
This is Dallas, TX. Our roads, we have lots of lanes
00:10:52
and the roads are big because there's lots of people, three
00:10:55
lanes on each side. And the car was going across and
00:10:58
back and forth and whatever. And I'm, I'm just kind of like,
00:11:01
you know, anybody that knows me, what the hell is going on?
00:11:06
Finally I got around to the left to try and pass this person.
00:11:09
And I look over and this old guy, older guy is fucking with
00:11:14
this dog and it's in his arms and it's jumping up on the
00:11:17
window and he's driving the car with his legs and with his
00:11:20
elbows and he's trying to control this dog.
00:11:23
Meanwhile, his big old girlfriend or whoever in the
00:11:26
passenger seat is just laughing, not trying to help him or
00:11:31
thinking it's fine for him to to mess around with this dog while
00:11:34
she sits there. She had some food, so perhaps
00:11:37
that was priority. Come on again.
00:11:40
A kid runs across the street of, of people jogging people this
00:11:45
the light changes and you're messing with the dog.
00:11:47
Don't bring your dog in the car. And if you have to, then find a
00:11:50
way to restrain it. It's it's, it's beyond me.
00:11:56
I'm going to do a little bit of this show called Ryan's Rant and
00:11:59
Ryan's Rage Corner. You might have thought I already
00:12:02
did it with these other ones, but let's talk about, let's talk
00:12:05
about this. Unless you don't have any arms
00:12:12
and then you likely wouldn't be driving.
00:12:14
But let's just say you found a way to drive with no arms.
00:12:18
That is the only way you're excused from not using your turn
00:12:22
signal. It's not difficult.
00:12:26
I literally just did what it takes to turn on a turn signal.
00:12:30
Your blinker if you will. There is no reason to not use it
00:12:35
yet. There are many reasons to use
00:12:38
it. It's so easy.
00:12:41
I can't tell you how many times I've almost run into a car
00:12:44
because I look over for two seconds to check this way and I
00:12:47
turn back and this car is just turning.
00:12:51
It's not hard to use your signal.
00:12:54
That's a big one. And that to me, you know, I had
00:12:57
a statistic and I and I lost it, but it was something like turns.
00:13:01
Not using your turn signal actually costs a lot of lives as
00:13:03
well each year. And you people kind of chuckle
00:13:06
at that. Well, how could that happen?
00:13:08
Well, it just does, especially in the winter time when, when
00:13:11
it, when the roads are slick and all of a sudden somebody's
00:13:13
trying to turn. And it's very simple.
00:13:17
Just use it occasionally if nobody's around, then maybe use
00:13:20
it. Don't use it if you switch lanes
00:13:22
or something. But but why?
00:13:24
Why not just do it and you'll you'll say, oh, what does the
00:13:28
guy 80 yards backing to see it? Sure, why not?
00:13:33
Maybe he goes into the other lane and just to make sure that
00:13:36
he doesn't have any kind of a tragedy.
00:13:39
Just use your just use your turn signal people.
00:13:42
Here's one of my personal favorites and a lot of people
00:13:45
won't maybe be as angry as I do about this.
00:13:48
But to me, it's it's just about consideration and I'll get to
00:13:52
that. But you're driving in the right
00:13:57
lane, at least a two or three lane Rd. and you're driving the
00:14:01
right lane and you're about to turn right at this light.
00:14:03
Well, everybody knows in the United States and other
00:14:06
countries, you can turn right on red.
00:14:09
OK, we know that. And you got some asshole in the
00:14:13
center lane who doesn't want to be behind any other car.
00:14:18
The right lane is open, and he's going to go there and sit there
00:14:23
and not turn right. He's going to wait to go
00:14:24
straight. So guess who has to sit and wait
00:14:28
when he otherwise could have turned right?
00:14:29
To me, it's just about, again, you look back and you see no car
00:14:34
insight anywhere. All right, fine.
00:14:35
If you must be the first one off the line against the big truck,
00:14:39
by all means go do it. But just be aware if there's a
00:14:44
car kind of coming up on the right side, he or she may want
00:14:46
to turn right. Don't be a Dick.
00:14:49
That's that's I've been told before, Trey and I used to do
00:14:52
these. I've been told that that one's a
00:14:54
little bit petty. OK, I'll take that.
00:14:58
But you still need to know that you're a Dick in my eyes.
00:15:02
Here's one that I'm going to be all serious about.
00:15:05
This isn't. There's no nothing funny about
00:15:07
this one to me at all. And that's school zones.
00:15:11
If anybody doesn't think that it's important to obey school
00:15:15
zone signs and school zone laws, check this out.
00:15:21
If a pedestrian is hit at 20 miles an hour, they have a 90%
00:15:25
chance of survival. It's pretty good.
00:15:28
Still not great. I don't like that there's any
00:15:30
chance of not surviving, but if you're going to school zone
00:15:34
speed limit at least the chances are high that you won't kill
00:15:37
somebody at 40. That drops to only 10% survival
00:15:44
if you're hit by a car going 40 miles an hour.
00:15:46
Well no shit that seems, you know, maybe.
00:15:50
Again, 10% seem to seem to survive it, but I guarantee that
00:15:54
my 5 year old wouldn't and I have a big issue with it.
00:15:58
It's not just my 5 year old. I can't imagine anybody having
00:16:01
to go through something like that if it happened.
00:16:05
Just go the speed limit. The problem with a lot of these
00:16:09
school zone speedsters, if you will, is that they just, they
00:16:14
don't, they don't care. They don't look at the signs.
00:16:16
They're flying through here and they just don't look.
00:16:20
Sometimes you say, I admit you, you suck, and you go, oh shit, I
00:16:22
didn't realize I was in a school zone.
00:16:24
Fair enough. But be aware everybody around
00:16:27
you is going 20 miles an hour, 25 miles an hour, whatever.
00:16:31
Maybe maybe it's a school zone. Look at the sign.
00:16:33
If the sign says 35 and it's time to end the school zone,
00:16:37
then then go. I had people the other day
00:16:40
stopping at that thinking that was the beginning of the school
00:16:42
zone. Are you just, are you not?
00:16:44
Are you not looking at the signs?
00:16:45
Again, I'm trying to laugh this off but this one is hard.
00:16:50
Look, I don't care if you hit a hit a dumb ass adult that jumps
00:16:53
out in the street and they shouldn't be.
00:16:55
But kids are innocent mostly, and if they jump into the
00:16:58
street, chances are they weren't aware that they probably
00:17:01
shouldn't do that. It's not hard on a school when
00:17:06
it comes to school zones. Please people, please just it.
00:17:11
It's not going to ruin your day, it's it's really not going to
00:17:14
slow you down that much. Just do it.
00:17:17
All I asked for when it comes to driving is for people to be
00:17:22
considerate. I actually ask for that.
00:17:25
Probably in most things in life, just be considerate.
00:17:27
Just consider that other human beings live on this planet, not
00:17:32
just us or not just yourself. I'm sorry.
00:17:36
All of us do, and all it takes is a little little
00:17:39
consideration. Be considerate of others and
00:17:43
everything will flow a little bit better.
00:17:47
A person won't get upset that you cut them off and then
00:17:49
they'll treat somebody better and they'll treat somebody
00:17:51
better. Everybody knows the butterfly
00:17:52
fact, everybody knows the chain reaction, everybody knows these
00:17:57
things. Just do it, be considerate.
00:17:59
It's all I want. Am I the only one that going
00:18:03
through this makes you lose your mind?
00:18:07
Usually I attack these like one, one or two at a time, and I'm
00:18:11
hitting them all right now and it's just building up.
00:18:14
But I'm taking a deep breath and I'm trying to, I'm trying to
00:18:18
believe that people out there aren't all stupid when it comes
00:18:21
to driving. So I'm going to keep going with
00:18:23
a little bit of the real talk. I'm going to kind of stay away
00:18:25
from comedy. I'm sorry, I I hit pause on the
00:18:27
comedy, but some of this shit's not funny.
00:18:31
And you know, I see stories all the time about people that, that
00:18:36
are dying in the in car crashes. We all know that it's more
00:18:40
dangerous to ride in a car somewhere than it is to fly.
00:18:44
That I think that's more testament to the airline
00:18:47
industry and air travel being good perhaps than it is the the
00:18:51
opposite. But there are way more car
00:18:54
accidents and car tragedies that happened in this country.
00:18:57
And I'm sure in the world that that needs to be if people would
00:19:02
just kind of use their head a little bit.
00:19:04
But you know, I just you hear all these high school kid was on
00:19:07
his way home in the night and somebody comes across the
00:19:10
highway and just head on and it's just like what is going on?
00:19:14
And it happens a lot. And I guarantee you that if some
00:19:19
of these things I'm talking about were considered, we could
00:19:22
cut that number down. So again, the school zone's a
00:19:26
big one. But speeding it on small roads
00:19:28
and neighborhoods, that's not good crosswalks when people are
00:19:33
there. I mean, a lot of times the
00:19:36
pedestrians have the right of way.
00:19:37
And if they start walking and you're not paying attention or
00:19:40
you don't know that they have the right of way, then bad
00:19:44
things are going to happen. You know, New York City doesn't.
00:19:48
It's a mess in there. I've been there.
00:19:50
It's crazy. You're on your own in New York
00:19:52
City. Drivers and pedestrians just
00:19:56
just do your thing, see what happens.
00:19:58
Chicago is coming right up behind you there.
00:20:02
But again, you know, that's your kid, your niece kid.
00:20:09
You wave goodbye two in the mornings.
00:20:12
And you need to be aware that other people unconditional love
00:20:18
for these other people as well. I can't imagine having to live
00:20:21
my whole life knowing that I unintentionally killed someone
00:20:26
because of driving, much less a child.
00:20:30
So think about it. If this reaches one person, then
00:20:33
great. If you're entertained by some of
00:20:35
the the funny ones, which there are getting into the right lane
00:20:39
to piss Ryan off, that's not deadly.
00:20:44
But I'm trying to think of all of them.
00:20:45
They're all they're all they all could turn most of them.
00:20:47
I mean, the dog and phone, everything could turn bad.
00:20:50
Pausing for effect. I've made my point about the
00:20:53
school zone, but I'm debating telling, you know, explaining it
00:20:57
more and I won't. Bottom line is look at the
00:21:01
signs. And I wish that this is the
00:21:03
whole thing about police and I, and I wish I asked a police
00:21:07
officer who happens to work at my child's school.
00:21:10
And I said, hey, you know, people are speeding around this
00:21:14
all the time. Why is there not more
00:21:17
enforcement of the law, especially back in, in, in the
00:21:20
day with school zones. I mean, that's double the, the
00:21:23
ticket fee, the penalty. And, and people were kind of
00:21:27
afraid of that. People didn't.
00:21:29
And now I just feel like nobody's worried about any
00:21:31
repercussions. And he just said they don't,
00:21:33
they just don't have enough manpower, not enough staff.
00:21:36
They're too busy with other things, which is what you hear a
00:21:39
lot of times. And, and rightfully so.
00:21:41
I mean, if I had to choose between real crime and and
00:21:46
somebody's speeding a little bit in the school zone, I suppose
00:21:48
I'd have to go with the former. But until something bad happens
00:21:51
and then all of a sudden it becomes a serious crime.
00:21:55
So lastly, let's let's go through some other quick ones
00:21:57
before we wrap it up. The rolling stops, AKA the
00:22:01
California shrug. I don't know where that came
00:22:03
from, but that's what I was told it's called.
00:22:07
This one doesn't bother me as much unless it's obvious that I
00:22:11
have the right of way and you jumped in front of me because
00:22:14
you rolled through a stop sign. I don't feel like a lot of
00:22:19
incidents happen because you rolled through a stop sign.
00:22:22
There's a reason for that law, and I think you should obey it.
00:22:26
We've all been known to roll through, especially if you're in
00:22:28
a hurry. I get it.
00:22:29
But just be aware. Be aware of people around you.
00:22:32
That's my advice on that. All right, this one may be funny
00:22:36
and people, some people don't care.
00:22:38
People get on me. Turn your fucking music down.
00:22:41
I don't need to hear what you're listening to.
00:22:43
I I just don't care. No one cares.
00:22:45
I'm trying to have a conversation with my three-year
00:22:47
old son who looks away and Mumbles out the window.
00:22:51
That's down. And a lot of people would say to
00:22:54
roll it up, but you know what? But no, turn the music down.
00:22:57
I can't understand the damn thing he's saying because you're
00:22:59
sitting here thinking you got Kyle over here, Mr. 16 year old
00:23:03
high school kid who thinks he's a badass because he's playing
00:23:05
some gangsta rap. You're not doesn't make you
00:23:08
cooler. It makes you more annoying when
00:23:11
you get older, you'll understand.
00:23:12
My my friend. Turn it down.
00:23:19
This is another one parking. All right.
00:23:22
This one we can go back to being light hearted about.
00:23:24
Kind of like the music thing. Park like you understand
00:23:29
symmetry park like you will have respect for other people.
00:23:33
I get out of these, you know, the car get to the store and is
00:23:37
assholes completely over the line parked at a diagonal 30°
00:23:41
angle and he just it doesn't give a shit.
00:23:44
Notice I say he mostly there's your guys.
00:23:48
Just if you get out, you're going to be aware that you you
00:23:52
did a shitty job parking and I think you should go in there
00:23:54
real quickly back up and and straighten it out, especially if
00:23:58
the store is crowded. Obviously, if there's nobody
00:24:01
there, I still don't like it. Who do you think you are?
00:24:05
Why do you get to bark there? You're not special.
00:24:08
I promise you that park like a normal person and take the take
00:24:14
the grocery store carts back to the the thing and don't leave
00:24:17
them in the middle of the parking lot.
00:24:19
Come on, people, Jesus Christ. Each of these, I view, is a
00:24:25
small act of social collapse. I thought of one last one, and
00:24:29
it was really funny when Trey and I used to talk about it,
00:24:32
because Trey does this. All these big old trucks feel
00:24:37
like they need to back into a space.
00:24:39
They're going to make you wait. You're going to have to sit
00:24:41
there while they manoeuvre the truck back in.
00:24:44
If you have to do that, don't buy truck to get a little bitty
00:24:48
car. If you can't figure out how to
00:24:50
work that big old truck, you don't need to have it because
00:24:53
everybody else is having to wait and they're put out.
00:24:56
You know, it's just a side note for all of you and a memory of
00:25:01
Trey to bring him back to the show.
00:25:05
So bottom line, driving is basically the biggest shared
00:25:10
group activity that we have every single day with no
00:25:14
supervision. It's like Mario Kart, but with
00:25:20
real consequences in zero skill. I wish I could blue shell all of
00:25:26
you, blow you off the road, but I won't.
00:25:30
Maybe just a banana peel or two. So that being said, how about
00:25:36
you check your awareness of self-awareness?
00:25:41
I challenge you to be aware of these things.
00:25:45
Now that you've listened when you're driving, I guarantee you
00:25:50
that you'll think back to this mug and this frustration level
00:25:54
and either you'll chuckle about how intense I am about little
00:25:58
things like the music or turning right a sitting in the right
00:26:03
lane on a red. But hopefully some of you will
00:26:06
also look and go, man, I am rolling through a school.
00:26:09
Look at this guy hauling ask going 40 through a school zone.
00:26:13
And now you know the statistic. 10%, only 10% will survive if
00:26:17
that car hit somebody. Just think about it.
00:26:21
It's not just driving, it's not just control of the car, it's
00:26:24
control of whether people make it safely, including yourself.
00:26:28
It's, it's just something that I feel needs to be drilled home
00:26:33
and that's why I've done it. Be better.
00:26:35
Please pay attention. Put your dog in a seat belt.
00:26:41
That'll that'll be a good start. If I see somebody swerving
00:26:44
because of a dog again I'm going to lose it.
00:26:46
Just letting you know you'll hear about me on the news.
00:26:48
Man ran it himself into the river screaming.
00:26:52
Get the dog off your lap. For the love of God use your
00:26:57
turn signal. Just do it.
00:27:01
Karma will be better for you. The universe will look more
00:27:04
after you. Just use your turn signal
00:27:07
please. So thanks for listening.
00:27:10
If it made you laugh, I hope good.
00:27:14
If it made you scream internally like me, good.
00:27:18
I'm not alone. Or if you're considering
00:27:22
reporting somebody to the DMV, anonymously, of course you share
00:27:27
it. Send it to your friends and
00:27:31
definitely things. Redo that guys.
00:27:34
Send it to your friends who definitely think the left lanes
00:27:38
for chilling out. Till next time, stay alert.
